Exercise routines you need to do to achieve your goal are strength training and cardiovascular training. This article will be focused on the cardiovascular exercises that will help you. In case you are not familiar with the term, man boobs are enlarged male breasts. This article will focus on the best exercise to get rid of man boobs.
Man boobs can be caused by hormone imbalances and certain medications. This is most often seen in teenage boys because their hormones are so out of whack while they’re going through puberty.
Why don’t chest exercises work?
By doing chest exercises, you’re trying to lose fat in a particular area (in this case your chest) by working out the muscles beneath that area. This is called spot reduction. Sports science and all the fat loss research out there, has proven that spot reduction is a myth. I repeat – spot-reduction is a M-Y-T-H – it doesn’t work!
* Push Ups: – This exercise is by far the easiest to do since it can be done anywhere and at anytime. Don’t worry about how many push ups you can do. If you wear out after 5, that’s ok. In time you will notice your chest muscles becoming tighter, and that is what you are trying to accomplish.
* Alternating Step-Ups – First you need to find something sturdy you can use to step up onto. The right height is an object around your mid-shin area. Now step up and then back down again using your right leg as the lead leg then for the next step use you left leg as the lead and so on.
* Bench Press: -Here is another good exercise to lose man breasts. Start with a weight that you can easily do 6-8 reps with. Then do 2 sets of these 3 times a week, or every other day. You can add more weight as you begin building more strength.
* Elliptical Machine – This machine is without question a fantastic calorie burner and is easy on your joints. The machine also works both your legs and arms unlike similar calorie burners such as cycling.
* Dumbbells: – Using dumbbells can be very effective in getting rid of male breasts. Curls are good, as are dumbbell raises. Keep the dumbbell out in front of you and slowly raise it straight up until it becomes chin high. Hold it there for 3 seconds and then lower. You can do 6 reps of these and you will begin to notice big changes in a short amount of time.
So what is the best exercise to get rid of man boobs?
The answer: Not so fast. It will be revealed below. First, I need to explain why the upper chest should be targeted.
Well, it may not be surprising to you that the area of the body we need to concentrate on to get rid of enlarged breasts is the chest. There are many exercises that can be used for chest workouts. Some of the popular ones include the bench press, pushups, the dumbbell fly and cable crossovers. It’s now time for the big secret. Most of these exercises focus on the lower chest.
If you perform any of these exercises the normal way, you will most likely develop your lower chest which will only make your man boobs appear larger. If you transform these exercises to focus on the upper chest, your upper chest will develop and even out your man boobs while at the same time burning the chest fat.
